St. John Episcopal Church will host the Hershey Handbell Ensemble on Friday, December 4, at 7:30 PM. This auditioned ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Shawn Gingrich, will present a holiday concert using their seven octaves of Malmark Handbells, Handchimes and other assorted instruments. A freewill offering will be received and a reception will follow in the Parish Hall of the church. A Cookie Walk will be held from 6 PM to 7:30 PM prior to the Hershey Handbell Choir Concert, immediately following the concert and on Saturday, December 5 from 10 AM to 12 Noon in the Parish Hall. From gingerbread to shortbread, snickerdoodles to date bars to tea cakes, all of our cookies are home baked and just in time for the holidays. St. John is located at 140 N. Beaver Street in York.
