We are celebrating the Fall chill in the air with some "chills" of our own! The Annual Spooky Art Show features artworks from spooky-cute to spooky-scary and some in between! Liette Monic will be doing Tarot readings during the event, plus we will have treats for the kids and a limited edition button featuring artwork from the show for the first 25 guests!

Between 5-8pm, get creative with this month’s La Luz-themed FREE art activity: Alebrijes Oaxacan Foil Animals! Alebrijes are brightly colored Oaxacan-Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures. The first alebrijes, along with use of the term, originated with artist Pedro Linares. This activity is suitable for all ages.

Shelby Seaton, a native of York, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a focus in Photography and Visual Communication from York College in 2013. Strangers is a collection of street portraits and interviews that, in the artists' words, "give a voice to the voiceless" while capturing the subjects' "genuine spirit," offering a feeling of human connection and hope.
