first friday grant application form
Downtown Inc offers a First Friday grant of $1000 a month, to be shared by all selected businesses for the month. Grant requests are submitted on a quarterly basis (three months at a time). Funds may be used for activities, entertainment, refreshments, promotional giveaways, or other items that would enhance the overall First Friday experience for downtown visitors. Must be a business or organization located in the Central Business District to receive funds.
Grants are to be used to offset costs for activities that enhance the First Friday event. Priority is given to activities that complement the First Friday theme for that month.
- December 9, 2016 (January, February, March 2017)
- March 10 – Second Quarter (April, May, June)
- June 9 – Third Quarter (July, August, September)
- September 8 – Fourth Quarter (October, November, December)
Upon submission, the First Friday Grant committee will select recipients for each month and notify recipients by email.
