first friday grant application form
Downtown Inc offers a First Friday grant of $1,000 a month, to be shared by all selected businesses for the month. Grant requests are submitted on a quarterly basis (three months at a time). Funds may be used for activities, entertainment, refreshments, promotional giveaways, or other items that would enhance the overall First Friday experience for downtown visitors. Must be a business or organization located in the Central Business District to receive funds.
Grants are to be used to offset costs for activities that enhance the First Friday event. Priority is given to live music/entertainment, creative activities and community collaboration.
- June 11, 2018 – Third Quarter (July, August, September 2018)
- September 14, 2018 – Fourth Quarter (October, November, December 2018)
NEW! First Friday Grant Partnership with Brewery Products
Downtown Inc will now be directly working with Brewery Products to offer downtown businesses and merchants beer for their First Friday activities! Any downtown business or merchant may apply for a First Friday Grant to be used for beer (or any other beverage distributed by Brewery Products), and once the grant has been approved by Downtown Inc, a check will be sent directly to Brewery Products to cover the cost. Upon submission, the First Friday Grant committee will select recipients for each month and notify recipients by email.
