Downtown Inc is pleased to announce the opening of  two new businesses in downtown York: Vault Video Games in WeCo at 290 W Market St. and Traffic Black at 133 S Duke St in Royal Square.

Please join the City of York and Downtown Inc as we cut the celebratory ribbon on these new businesses on First Friday February 6th at 4pm at Vault Video Games and 5pm at Traffic Black.  

Vault Video Games

Rob Betz, owner of Vault Video Games is excited to have a retail store specializing in video games.  Vault Video games carries everything from Atari,PS4 and Xbox1 and much more in between as well as systems and accessories.  “I saw the perfect opportunity on W Market St in WeCo and opened my store where there was no other gaming store competition, I saw the chance and I am really looking forward to being in downtown York”, said owner, Rob Betz.

Hour of operation are Monday- Friday 11:00 am- 7:00pm, Saturday 11:00am- 5:00pm.  Check them out on FB at  

Traffic Black

Traffic Black will feature modern contemporary furniture designed by Nine 6 as well as other small furniture designers.  Nine 6 is owned by Joe Greenberg and Matthew Campbell, who have decided through their successful furniture line to open a full blown retail space.  “Royal Square for us seemed a perfect fit for our retail space with similar businesses in the arts scene.  We have watched the momentum of the neighborhood and determined this was the perfect location for our retail operation,” said Joe Greenberg, co-owner of Traffic Black.

Hour of operation are Tuesday- Saturday 11am-5pm.  A full dedicated website along with an ecommerce site will be coming soon.


Downtown Inc works to revitalize and foster reinvestment in downtown York.  Its mission is to facilitate collaboration, advocacy, and promotion of downtown initiatives to improve the economic growth, enhance the physical appearance, and increase foot traffic throughout the downtown district, and communicate to the community at large the positive activities taking place in downtown York.
