Downtown Inc announces today the hiring of Adam Walters as Project Administrator.
A York native, Walters has a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Spanish from York College of Pennsylvania and will be receiving his Master of Public Administration Degree with certificate in Policy Analysis and Evaluation from Penn State University Harrisburg in May 2016.
Walters previously served as an Office Support Assistant at Stock and Leader, Attorneys at Law. Last summer, Walters worked as Downtown Inc’s Economic Development Intern. During his internship, Walters facilitated a comprehensive Downtown Streetscape Inventory, evaluating the safety and walkability of our downtown, yielding almost 900 data points.
The Project Administrator position oversee the projects and programs relating to the Moving Plans into Action initiative: efforts to improve the overall economic health of the City of York through enhancements to Continental Square, the Heritage Rail Trail, the Codorus Creek, and downtown housing and placemaking.
