WHAT: Downtown Inc will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Naked Chick Art, a new stand in Central Market.

DETAILS: Naked Chick Art is an artist collective focusing on bringing quality “raw” art to the public. “Raw” art includes handmade artworks and pieces created using natural, repurposed, reclaimed and up-cycled items. Items available include paintings on barn wood and antique door panels, handcrafted woodworks, and beaded and macramé jewelry. Additional items include repurposed textile aprons, kids dress-up and play, boho jackets and home decor.
Proprietor Suzanne Rende has been an active muralist for more than 20 years. She graduated from the Hussian School of Art in 1993. She began her full-time mural arts career in Southern California. She moved back to her home state of New Jersey in 2000. Though she still has many clients in New Jersey, Rende now resides in York, where she paints murals and commissions original paintings, in addition to running her business at Central Market.
